Basic Crime Scene Investigations Course, presented by the Monmouth County Prosector's Office
Full Description
This course is designed to teach students the proper way to enter a crime scene, to preserve the crime scene, to search the crime scene and to collect evidence from the crime scene.  

This includes, crime scene management, crime scene search equipment, scene sketching, scene photography, record keeping, blood stain analysis, and crime scene handling and packaging of evidence.

The second day of the class will include a mock crime scene, where the student will be responsible for each of the aforementioned disciplines.

Prerequisites
As the Training Officer responsible for registering personnel on behalf the employing agency, I affirm all of the following requirements:

1) The registrant is a sworn law enforcement officer (if required for this class).
2) The registrant is authorized to attend this training.
3) The registrant will abide by the academy dress code and/or other requirements set forth in the course description.
