In-Service - High Performance Leadership, NJ DCJ - 26

Brief Description
High Performance Leadership, presented free-of-charge by NJ Division of Criminal Justice
Full Description
Leadership is among the most challenging, exciting, and rewarding experiences one could
have, but like anything else, it is a learned skill set.  Today’s Law Enforcement leaders must
be highly skilled, and highly knowledgeable, as to the tenets and possibilities of modern
leadership.

Presented in a methodized-outline manner, this presentation will begin with a discussion on the concept and true definition of leadership, followed by analysis of the existing Law Enforcement leadership development structure.  We will examine the traits of successful leaders in Law Enforcement, the private sector, the military, and beyond.  We will also explore where, at times, leaders fall short.

Ultimately, taking your leadership to the next level is accomplished by taking your people to the next level.  When executed properly, the possibilities are limitless.  This course will benefit both new and seasoned Law Enforcement leaders.
