Ambush-style attacks on officers are one of the most lethal threats you face today, accounting for 284 officers shot in the last 36 months.  These attacks frequently occurred during traffic stops, approaches to buildings, and interactions with people in your community.

In a dynamic threat environment, every response is an Unknown Risk Scenario.  Your safety and legal posture hinge on your ability to execute sound tactics flawlessly, under extreme pressure. It’s our goal to prepare you to anticipate danger and not react to it.

In this extensive, two-day course, Officers will take a deeper dive into assessing evolving threats, interpreting behavior, communicating effectively, and coordinating with cover Officers to successfully execute tactical approach and entries in dynamic, high-stress environments.  

Attendees will then learn how to create scenarios to address specific learning points for their trainees.

- Tactical Talking: How to Get Information

- Choose Your Approach: Standard of Stealth
- Daytime v. Night-time Considerations
- Low Light Search Techniques: Headlights, Flashlights, Street & Interior
- Multi-Officer Approach Tactics
- Surviving The Moment of Entry

APPROACHING VEHICLES
- Controlling the Stop Location
- Utilizing the Protection of Your Squad Offers
- Vehicle Positioning: Thinking Strategically
- Daytime v. Nighttime Stops
- Making Contact: Analyzing Driver’s Side, Passenger Side & Call Back
