Patrol Officers are the immediate reactive unit in every Agency.  The interaction of a Patrol Officer with a suspect, victim, or witness, can dictate the results of a new or ongoing investigation.  Knowing how to properly communicate is crucial to attaining our goal: The Truth.  This course will provide attendees with proactive tactics and effective interview techniques to ulilize at the roadside.  

Both Proactive and Reactive Officers within the Law Enforcement community will benefit from the skills and techniques taught in this training.  Topics to be covered,
- Interview vs. Interrogation  -  Staress factors relsted to the autonomic nervous system  -  Identifying case law that supports Patrol Officer-initiated MV stops  -  MV target selection  -  Pretextual MV stops  -  deceptive Indicators  -  Danger signs  -  Miranda  -  Techniques to utilize on MV stops  -  Conducting a roadside interview  -  Expanding the scope of a MV stop with RAS  -  Acceptable questions to ask during a MV stop of field interview  -  Rapport building  -  Statement Analysis
