Brief Description: Accelerated Waiver Course

Full Description: This is an accelerated waiver course from Special Law Enforcement Officer II to Police Officer. The trainee must have served at least one year as a SLEO II (but no more than 3) and must be appointed as a Police Officer.

Resources Required: The trainee must have completed at least one year as a SLEO II. The trainee must have approval from the Police Training Commission to attend this course. After registration you must submit a Request for Waiver of Training (PTC-15), a Resolution of Hire, and the Notice of New Appointment (NONA) directly to the PTC for approval.

Reporting Instructions: Trainees will be required to report daily at 0800 hours in their Class 'A' uniform (no short sleeves) or business attire (jacket and tie). Trainees will have a notebook, writing utensils, and a gallon jug of water. Trainees are not permitted to miss any of the scheduled classes.
