Class Time: 8:30am to 5:00pm
This course is designed to teach the students the proper way to enter a crime scene, to preserve the crime scene, to search the crime scene and to collect evidence at the crime scene. This will include, but will not be limited to, crime scene management, crime scene search equipment, crime scene sketching, crime scene photography, crime scene record keeping, crime scene blood stain analysis and crime scene handling and packaging of evidence. The second day of the class will include a mock crime scene whereas the student will be responsible for the aforementioned disciplines.

Prerequisites
As the Training Officer responsible for registering personnel on behalf the employing agency, I affirm all of the following requirements:

1) The registrant is a sworn law enforcement officer (if required for this class).
2) The registrant is authorized to attend this training.
3) The registrant will abide by the academy dress code and/or other requirements set forth in the course description.
