Class Times: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. No cost. This training is paid for through a grant.
Full Description
Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills needed to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance abuse problem or experiencing a crisis. This class consistently receives very high marks from all students who have attended.
