This course is designed to teach students the proper way to enter a crime scene, preserve the crime scene, search the scene, and collect evidence.  This will include crime scene...

- Search equipment
- Sketching
- Photography
- Record keeping
- Blood stain analysis, and
- Handling and packaging of evidence.
The second day of class will include a mock crime scene, where the student will be responsible for all of the aforementioned disciplines.

Course Fee: In County $200; Out-of- County:  $400

Prerequisites
As the Training Officer responsible for registering personnel on behalf the employing agency, I affirm all of the following requirements:

1) The registrant is a sworn law enforcement officer (if required for this class).
2) The registrant is authorized to attend this training.
3) The registrant will abide by the academy dress code and/or other requirements set forth in the course description.
