Penn State’s Justice and Safety Institute (JASI) has been providing its Police Executive Development (POLEX) training program on a national basis for several years, and the need for such training clearly remains. POLEX is designed to aid law enforcement supervisors and managers in their transition into positions of greater leadership and responsibility. This newly remodeled and flexible program highlights vital tools necessary to help make law enforcement professionals an integral and productive part of the management team.

JASI is pleased to partner with our co-sponsor to offer this innovative, interactive, and informative program to aid in the development of law enforcement professionals everywhere. This intensive course places an emphasis on the development of skills and abilities in all sectors of police management. A portal account is required to register for classes. To establish an account, return to the login page and follow the instructions for "How to Register for In-Service Classes". You must have your supervisor's approval prior to registering for any in-service courses. Registration by phone or fax is not accepted.

TRAINING OFFICERS: Authorized officials may register multiple officers from their agency in a class. If you are authorized to register personnel on behalf of your law enforcement agency, return to the Portal homepage and follow the instructions for "Training Coordinator Authorization".
