Full Description
This basic defensive tactic workshop aims to provide officers with the necessary tactical knowledge and skills to safely and effectively confront and gain control of a resisting subject. The program is based on principles that enable officers to transition between levels of force including de-escalation, empty-hand skills, ground control, weapon retention, baton, firearms, and handcuffing. Designed for LEO’s, techniques understanding and combating size challenges, mindset, and team approach will be practiced. Additionally, scenario-based firearms simulator training will be included in this 1-day force spectrum class. This is an active hands-on course which is designed to induce simulated stress on the human body.
*Attendees should be in good physical health and able to perform the techniques described. *Class B uniform or range type attire.
*Additionally, duty belt, handcuffs and training pistol are required.
