Full Description: INCIDENT RESPONSE TO TERRORIST BOMBINGS IRTB & PRSBI, two 4hr. sessions:
MORNING SESSION:
This 4-hour FEMA/DHS course is designed for responders who require the skills necessary to recognize and report a potential incident involving explosives or who are likely to witness or investigate an event involving the use of explosives or explosive devices. The course addresses appropriate actions in the event of a potential or a realized WMD incident involving explosives and incendiaries. Participants earn 0.4 CEU’s and a certificate upon completion.
AFTERNOON SESSION:
This 4-hour FEMA/DHS course is designed to provide participants with sufficient knowledge of suicide bombings so they can become a part of their agency's overall prevention, deterrence, mitigation, and response effort to this threat. The course addresses types of suicide bombings, phases of suicide attacks, pre-attack indicators, evacuation distances, pre/post attack issues, and use of deadly force against a suicide bomber. Participants earn 0.4 CEU’s and a certificate upon completion.

This In-Service Course is FREE.

Prerequisites: As the Training Officer responsible for registering personnel on behalf the employing agency, I affirm all of the following requirements:

1) The registrant is a sworn law enforcement officer (if required for this class).
2) The registrant is authorized to attend this training.
3) The registrant will abide by the academy dress code and/or other requirements set forth in the course description.

You must have your supervisor's approval prior to registering for any in-service courses. Registration by phone or fax is not accepted.
